The folks behind Laurelhurst Market and Simpatica Dining Hall are finally debuting their Hawaiian plate lunch spot Ate-Oh-Ate on Monday, after months of menu speculation and self-proclaimed East Side pride. And just as chef/owner/native Hawaiian Benjamin Dyer promised earlier this summer, the punnily named spot features plenty of exposed wood, a 50-foot-long mural, and several island-themed tchotchkes thrown into the mix. And Loco Moco. Which frankly, sounds magical.
