For those with the 9 to 5, the arrival of summer signals the ideal time for food-cart lunching (or any other option that maximizes the time spent retrieving food or eating outdoors). But in the hallowed tradition of the Summer Friday, it's also the best time of year to take a business meeting over lunch — you know, a seated afternoon meal that doesn't involve eating over your keyboard. So with that in mind, this week's Friday Open Thread asks: What are Portland's top restaurants for power lunching? We want to hear about the spots you suggest when you're trying to impress a client (or when your boss is picking up the tab). Or maybe it's the place that simply offers a sit-down respite away from the office, with service quick enough to get you back in an hour or less.
Give your power-lunch destination a shout in the comments. As per usual, we'll round-up your suggestions in a map that highlights the places where business deals go down on the daily.
