Mississippi Ave Por Que No Closed Til Mid-November

Seems like Portlanders are forgetting all their Smoky Bear warnings, as the Mississippi outpost of surprisingly excellent Mexican chain Por Que No caught on fire Wednesday morning, bringing the count of restaurants-closed-due-to-fire up to two, along with Hawthorne joint Sel Gris. Por Que No assures us they're all cleaned out, repairs are happening, and that we should all be looking out for a mid-November reopening. Until then, they invite anyone dying for a pescado taco to come by the SE Hawthorne spot.
