Local legend Bruce Carey, owner of Bluehour as well as 23Hoyt and Saucebox, just slipped Eater an early proposal for this Pearl District staple's Thanksgiving menu. It's the first year Bluehour's ever hosted a Thanksgiving dinner. Why? Let's hear it from Mr. Carey himself: "Last month Chef Kenny [Giambalvo] ran in to Philippe Boulot at the Heathman who was telling him that we were crazy to be closed. The Heathman does about a bazillion dinners that day and turns away hundreds more. That is inspiring... and think of it as community service for the poor folks who don't want to stink up their house with that old turkey carcass smell."
Currently collecting non-carcass-y alternatives. Know of another menu around town? You know what to do.
