The Plywood Report: Rocco's Pizza

New, 2 comments

It's time for Plywood, where we look at construction sites so you don't have to. Seen or heard something we've missed? The tipline is always open.

Portland's most famous mediocre pizza shop Roccos Pizza is expanding eastward into an empty storefront and will soon open a bar where it will serve beer, wine, and well drinks to wash down its doughy pies, says this friendly mustached construction worker pictured above. Rocco's, renown for once deploying a fleet of Humvees as pizza delivery vehicles, serves very bad pizza, but does so inexpensively. Bad is the new good, and soon it will arrive with a stiff drink.
