Breaking! Cory Schreiber Joins AI Culinary School

Wildwood founder, chef luminary, PDX food first son, and James Beard winner Cory Schreiber has joined the faculty of the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Portland, sources say.

Perhaps Portland's most renowned and revered chef, Schreiber has accepted the position of "Culinary Artist in Residence" and will help AI's Chef Director Ken Rubin with programming and strategy while teaching one class per term. The Institute launched its three-year bachelor's program in culinary arts this summer, and from all reliable sources, is attracting new students at a rate much higher than competing schools Western Culinary Institute and Oregon Culinary Institute.
