Let's tune in for a little early report on Accanto, the brand-new Genoa's equally brand-new little sister/neighbor/brother/pal/offshoot, shall we? With a kitchen helmed by regulation hottie David Anderson, right, formerly of David Machado's Vindalho, everyone's been expecting awesomeness with the sauces and flavors and all that fun "profile"-type jazz. What they haven't all been expecting is just how easy Accanto is. Let's take a run through the internet-o-sphere

The Good News:
Yelp: "A warm friendly place;" "the atmosphere here is truly beautiful;" "warm inviting environment."
Portland Mercury: "When you want a bit of the Genoa flavor without the full-on five-course, wallet-draining experience, their new next door café is the spot to pick."

The Good (With Qualifiers) News:
Good Stuff NW: "zippy," "great," "the ricotta made the centers a little mushy, but still good."
UrbanSpoon: "Still some kinks to be worked out with our service, but nothing that ruined the experience nor that would make me shy away from a return visit."
The Goodist: "While Accanto may be playing it a little safe with much of the menu as they get started, there's adventure if you want it."

The Bad News: N/A
