American Flatbread: "In Fact, Happening"

Last week brought a magical mystery as to the upcoming opening of Vermont-based pizza mini-chain, American Flatbread, in downtown's newly-renovated General Automotive Building. Gossip was the financing was falling through, word from the real estate broker--Urban Works Real Estate--was that it wasn't, and now we've got word from a streetwise tipster-- "When you walk by, all you see is a sort of 'mission statement' sign posted inside, a mess of construction, and nobody working on it,"--combined with and/or slightly contradicted by an update from Matt Wilson, owner and operator of the forthcoming project: "I can assure you the project is, in fact, happening."
