Andy Ricker's SE Division Thai place, Pok Pok, is halfway through a two-week break for what they're billing as their "annual holiday/repair/remodel." Those fearful of surviving for another seven days without boar collar or Khao Soi noodles can rest easy knowing that they'll be served at Pok Pok's recently-opened neighbor-sibling, Whiskey Soda Lounge, while those who can't wait for another Cha Ca La Vong or condensed milk ice cream affogatto will just have to suck it up and deal. Meanwhile, Ricker's put out a call for artwork to go up in his newest venture, the clusterfuck-of-happiness that is Foster Burger, which all leads to a nice little moment of synchronicity.
