On Saturday, at Hotel deLuxe, notable local chefs, including Vitaly Paley (Paley's Place) and Corey Schreiber (Wildwood), will be joined by Seattle chef Ethan Stowell for the 2nd Annual "Eat My Words," a panel discussion and luncheon on what it takes a chef to become a cookbook author.

On Friday Eater talked briefly to the always-bustling Stowell (who just so happens to be the brother of Oregon Ballet Theatre's Artistic Director Christopher Stowell) about his new cookbook that will have its local launch at Eat My Words: Ethan Stowell's New Italian Kitchen.

Full of unusual seafood recipes like fresh sardines and cuttlefish Ethan told Eater his new cookbook reflect the recipes of his Seattle eateries including the popular How To Cook A Wolf, Anchovies & Olives Tavolata and the brand new Staple and Fancy. "People can be too uptight when it comes to cooking," says Stowell. "We want people to have fun with their food."
