The remodel is still in its early stages, but Portland Prime is already open for business. Scheduled to replace the former Kincaids back in August, the powers-that-be went ahead with new signage for Portland Prime, PDX's latest steakhouse, even though the transformation is far from complete. According to their site, once the remodel is finished, Portland Prime
"...will have 120 seats in the restaurant (and) 90 seats in the Prime Bar — which will feature a piano bar, and a private dining room that will accommodate up to 40 guests. Operated by Keeler Hospitality Group, Portland Prime will feature fresh Northwest seafood, prime steak and chops along with farm-fresh produce and specialty items made by local artisans and purveyors. A glowing pizza oven, charcuterie station and oyster bar, vintage cocktails, local micro-brews and barrel-to-bar wines by the glass from Oregon vintners will be hallmarks of the Portland Prime experience. Portland Prime’s menu will feature Executive Chef Russell Kool’s (formerly of Skamania Lodge and The University Club) contemporary heritage cuisine."
