After just two months in the kitchen at Pinot American Brasserie, chef/owner Bill King is out, insiders confirm. “Bill King, an employee of Pinot American Brasserie, has resigned his position as executive chef and has moved on to pursue other interests," says a rep in a canned statement. "We are pleased that former chef de cuisine Paul Arnold will move into the executive chef role.”
In an interview with Eater just before the restaurant debuted, King was confident about the spot's everything-to-everyone approach. "In terms of feeling comfortable with the process and the concept, no intimidation at all," King said in July. "And most importantly, it's what I've wanted to do for a long time. It's more of a dream realized for me."
