Today in admirable career choices: A tipster reports that Lucy's Table chef Bryan Szeliga has left the NW bistro's kitchen to focus his efforts on seafood conservation, a plan that "could include opening his own place." A quick visit to Szeliga's personal website shows that he's an active member of Trout Unlimited and the Wild Salmon Center, and according to the insider, "he’s looking into opportunities that are in line with his desire to be a spokesperson to the chef community about sustainable seafood."
