Details Emerge About Jenn Louis' New Spot, Sunshine Tavern

The team behind N. Williams' Lincoln restaurant, chef Jenn Louis and bar camper David Welch, quietly signed on to a new space on SE Division late this summer — and details are finally seeing the light of day.

The casual bar and eatery has been christened the Sunshine Tavern, and Louis' menu will focus on simple eats like pizzas, burgers, fried chicken, and treats that emerge from the in-house soft-serve ice cream machine. Expect a "come as you are" neighborhood feel — complete with shuffleboard (!) to keep guests drinkin'. Projected opening date is January 2011.
