Rumor control: Word has circulated that The Oregonian's "Non-Foodies Food Guide" was ready to go much earlier than when it actually appeared in the paper on October 15. So what was the hold-up? Eater has heard that the original run date a few weeks earlier would've *coincidentally!* coincided at about the same time the O let go of restaurant critic Roger Porter. Wow.
