Looks like Chris Israel isn't about to let his nearly year-old Alpine spot Gruner rest on its accolade-collecting laurels: According to the Craigslist, the recent PoMo Mag "Best Restaurant" winner is officially looking to add a pastry chef to its kitchen: "Up until now our desserts have been a simple affair but we'd like to see the menu evolve." Gruner's past dessert menus have included cookie plates and Dutch babies, and the ad cites a need to "expand our dessert repertoire."
