Olympic Provisions Eyeing Carlyle Space; No Lease Signed Yet

Rumors have been flying of late that the boys behind Olympic Provisions — curist Eli Cairo and chef Jason Barwikowski — have signed onto the NW Industrial space best known as Carlyle, the formerly storied restaurant that shuttered on Valentine's Day this year. A tipster confirms that the OP-sters are looking for a new spot to double as both curing facility and permanent retail space; but clarifies that no lease has yet been signed to make things official. Let's hope that — unlike with those rumors about Daniel Mondok's reincarnation of Sel Gris taking over — this Carlyle takeover's for real.
