Pastry chef Lauren Fortgang, who recently left her longstanding gig at Paley's Place to join Gabriel Rucker's ranks, will be pulling double duty. Karen Brooks (aka our favorite bringer of sweet news) reports that Fortgang will lend her talents not only to Rucker's forthcoming project Little Bird, but she'll juice up the dessert menu of the mothership Le Pigeon as well.
