SOUTHEAST: While the Food Network cameras were in town to shoot an episode of Meat & Potatoes at Gilt Club, it appears that Rahm Fama and co. also popped over to SW Ankeny's Pacific Pie Co. to focus their cameras on the Co.'s beef and stout pie. The episode airs on October 22.
N. KILLINGSWORTH: Our friends at Food Carts Portland report that the Wicked Waffles cart will shutter permanently at the end of the month, as owners Jeanne and Matthew Subotnick look into expanding into a larger space — possibly a brick-and-mortar restaurant. To count down to the close, the Subotnicks are bringing back past customer faves, including green eggs and ham. And gravy.
