As hinted before the weekend, Ned Ludd chef and owner Jason French is making some changes to the menu post-Ben Meyer's departure, and according to French, the new menu allows Ludd's famous oven to "express more than just her fury and fire." Dinner now features an expanded protein menu (with rabbit and cod making appearances), in addition to larger charcuterie and cheese selections.
For Portland's favorite meal, French features some holdovers from lunch (including the moray and cheese), and throws some new items like brioche in custard, polenta with egg and meat gravy, ruby trout, vegetable-stuffed bread, and liver and onions. Download the list here and hold your breath: Brunch starts this Saturday.
