Looks like Primal Cuts author Marissa Guggiana is the new toast of the town: In addition to a meet-and-eat book party thrown by the Ethical Butcher next week, Eater just got word that Guggiana will be the guest of honor at a dinner tomorrow night at the Simpatica Dining Hall, thrown by Portland's other main man-in-meat, Laurelhurst Market's Ben Dyer.
The surprisingly bacon-free, $40 four-course meal features apps of sliced corned veal tongue and fried oxtail roulade and turnip soup, with Cattail Creek lamb getting the entree slot; RSVP by calling the Simpatica kitchen.
