Another full weekend of eating events to satiate your Eater-less existence: In addition to food and wine fest-ing in the Pearl and/or jostling for free wings at Pok Pok, here are a few more to-dos to add to your list:

N. KILLINGSWORTH: The Hop & Vine welcomes mixologist/bloggers Jacob Grier and Ezra Johnson-Greenough during Brewing Up Cocktails, a Saturday-night event that mixes up potent potables that combine liquor and beer. Example: The "Hot Scotchy," which features fresh wort from Upright Brewing. The event is free, with cocktails individually priced for your tippling pleasure.

IRVINGTON: Specialty-food purveyors Foster & Dobbs celebrate a fifth anniversary of their own this weekend, with an open house between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday, featuring samples of store favorites from Olympic Provisions, Sahagún Chocolates, Bergstrom Wines, and Little Forest Pickles, among others.

McMINNVILLE: Wine country's passionately farm-to-table restaurant Thistle kicks off its second-annual "Guest Chef and Winemaker" series this Sunday evening, featuring a five-course dinner with Ben Bettinger of Beaker & Flask (wine pairings by Ransom Wines). All proceeds from the $100 ticket benefit the Yamhill Community Action Partnership; future monthly dinners feature a who's who of PDX restaurants, including June, Beast, and Nostrana.
