Tis the Season for Supper Clubs: TransPort, FEAST Debut

New, 1 comment

The underground supperclub movement just caught a second wind, with a couple new social dining experiences debuting this month: Clyde Common alums Ethan Bisagna and Ashley Brown Bisagna will throw a recurring dinner series under the name FEAST: Their debut dinner fetes next month, with a five-course prix fixe meal held at the Art Department, with wine pairings from Penner Ash. Reservations are required (and can be secured at the Feastworks official website).

And in the more "underground" of the two ventures, the trans_Port Social Dining club bills itself as "an exclusive, tasting menu dinner party, an “underground” or “pop-up” restaurant, a movable feast," with a rotating menu and location shaking things up each month. Guests need to get on the mailing list to get the skinny about future events; the secretive, shadowy "Chef Woggs," who says he's been cooking in PDX kitchens since the age of 16, runs the show.
