Saucebox's Prix Fixe Menu, More Media Mentions for PDX

DOWNTOWN: Even more buzz surrounding chef Jason Neroni's revamped offerings at Saucebox: From Sunday through Wednesday, a $35 three-course prix fixe menu highlights new dishes like duck terrine, brook trout with smoked marrow, and Peking sucking pig with red cabbage puree. (A quick glance at the revamped menu, in its entirety, shows that the spot's famous Korean pork ribs and tapioca dumplings are still on the menu, so y'all can calm down now.)

MEDIA NEWS: Food & Wine seriously can't stop writing about Portland. In the December "Best of the Year" issue, Olympic Provisions's pork rillette hand pies were named one of 2010's "Top 10 Restaurant Dishes." And OP isn't the only one picking up accolades: San Francisco-based magazine 944 named Pitxi chef Edward Martinez to its list of "Most buzzworthy chefs in the country right now," joining Eater Awards' Chef of the Year winner Stephanie Izard.
