Over the weekend (during an OMGspecial emergency session), it appears that the killjoys at the Oregon Liquor Control Commission approved a statewide ban of Four Loko, the media-friendly, alcoholic energy drink that's had everyone from Frank Bruni to Stephen Colbert weighing in for laughs.
According to our friends at the Oregonian, though the ban is temporary (it'll remain in place for six months — "until the commission can adopt more permanent and complete ban"), it is effective immediately: "Starting Saturday night, OLCC officers throughout the state [started] giving citations to sellers still carrying the alcoholic energy drinks." Add another one to the Four Lokator map, guys.
