If cooking up an at-home feast isn't your thing, undoubtedly you've caught all the lists of restaurants open for turkey day (and if you haven't made your reservations yet... well... good luck with that). But for pre-feast eating (or take-out and re-heat Thanksgiving options), check out the following for-a-limited-time-only specials.
SOUTHEAST: In addition to their Thanksgiving-ready dessert pies, Immortal Pie & Larder has cooked up a delicious dinner-for-one option: An individual-sized "turkey dinner pie" features roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, and stuffing top. (The pie's also available in larger, sharable sizes for those less socially-challenged.)
PEARL DISTRICT: This Wednesday only, Little Big Burger is cooking up a turkey burger featuring bird, brie, and cranberry. The $3.75 deal is only available while supplies last.
DOWNTOWN: Big-Ass Sandwiches' "Thanksgiving Special" sandwich — featuring slow roasted turkey; homemade sweet potato, sausage, cranberry and rosemary stuffing; home-cut fries; and homemade turkey gravy — has been making waves around town: The cart will be open all this week (save Thanksgiving day), and after fueling ravenous Black Friday shoppers, will close until early December for a winter recess.
OLD TOWN: Meat maven Chris Carriker of Gilt Club is offering up his foie gras, duck, and pork terrines to-go for holiday serving (or eat a whole one yourself. Whatever). Last day to place a Thanksgiving-ready order is today; a whole terrine weighs in at 3.5 pounds, so portion accordingly.
