The clock is ticking down on the first annual Eater Awards, and we are enlisting reader help to name the winners. Voting has already begun on the Restaurants of the Year in Portland and across the country. Now, it's time to find the hottest restaurants across America.

Here's how it works. Eater editors have named nominees for each category. Eater readers will vote, narrowing the nominees to three finalists.
