The NYC-famous Jason Neroni, who recently signed on as the new executive chef at Bruce Carey's Saucebox, is already flexing his Asian-fusion muscles. According to an insider, Neroni has been in the Box kitchen for only the past week, but has totally revamped the menu: "It's very different... only a few signature dining room dishes remain." A quick peek at Neroni's Twitter feed reveals new items like grilled lettuce with poached squid, pastrami tongue, Indonesian oyster sauce and cilantro; fried chicken with kimchee ketchup, and a deserty-sounding passion fruit soup served with avocado, salted caramel bananas, Thai chili chocolate gelato, and basil.
