Pinot Pop

Forget bacon soda. Next year's International Pinot Noir Celebration is also getting fizzy: The team at local pizza-chain-turned-fruit-soda-brewers HotLips is teaming with the IPNC to brew a Pinot-infused pop that'll debut exclusively at the 2011 event. And the fest — which marks the IPNC's 25th anniversary — may be the only place to drink the Pinot soda. "We'll keep three or four cases of each and have not had a chance to figure out what we'll do with them," says co-owner David Yukin. "But something fun I'm sure. There's not enough to release out to distributors." [EaterWire]
