Competitive Eating at Cafe Nell's Game Night

Nationally acclaimed author Cythnia Nims will be rolling the dice on Wednesday night at Cafe Nell to celebrate the release of her new book, Gourmet Game Night. The party-time tome serves up gastro game ideas alongside easy-to-follow recipes — like lamb and olive kebabs — that feeds the competitive spirit in any competitive eater.

BYOG (bring your own games) or choose from the pile on-site. Each table will have dice, pencils and a pad of paper and Nims will kick off the evening with a round of food trivia, but then everyone’s off on their own. Chef Andrew Garrett is preparing a special menu of recipes from Nims’ book in addition to the regular menu, but no word if Garrett will whip out his infamous short shorts for a twisted game of Twister.
