Wanna do what we at Eater pretend to do on a daily basis? Local cookbook author Diane Morgan's annual "Art of Food Writing" course, which starts in January of next year, still has spots up for grabs: The six-week class gives participants a crash-course in the professional food writing and publishing worlds, with seminars about everything from cookbook writing to recipe crafting to landing a literary agent. In addition to Morgan, who has 16 cookbooks under her belt, guest instructors include movers-and-shakers like Martha Holmberg and Chronicle Books cookbook editor William LeBlond. Registration ends tomorrow (Dec. 15); more information here.
