In today's Oregonian, David Sarasohn gives high marks to the largely under-the-radar Kin, opened in June by Chicago transplant (and F&W Best Chef winner) Kevin Shikami (back then, he told Eater of PDX's food culture: "It's interesting in Portland... I've never had so many people take pictures of my food.") And it seems like he's fitting in just fine. Sarasohn writes: "Before Asian fusion became a cliché, it was actually a cuisine, and Shikami reminds you why." [OregonLive]
