The Daily Journal of Commerce reports that a 4,200-square-foot space on NW Broadway (across the way from Gilt Club) will soon welcome a a community kitchen and commercial food-prep space that aims to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses from the ground-up. Dubbed KitchenCru, the spot (which once housed Captains Nautical Supply) purports to provide "a unique place for helping chefs, food cart operators and caterers develop their fledgling businesses," just like a "culinary incubator." A wine store will also have a home in the building.
