"Champagne Smorgasbord" Pouring NYE at Red Slate Wine

New, 1 comment

With more than 25 dining options for New Year's Eve (snag those last-minute rezzies here and here), chances are your last-day-of-2010 plans focus in on severe fat-assery.

But for pre-dinner bubbles, the Red Slate Wine Co. — a "wine salon" and event space (owned by sommelier and former OCI wine professor David Speer) — will pour some serious champagnes, with a menu featuring 10 two-ounce tastes ranging in price form $4-22 (the latter for the spendy Tete du Cuvee's Salon 1997). The bubbly New Year's "pre-party" runs from 6pm to 10pm in the Red Slate space (it's flying under the radar across the way from Olympic Provisions in the Central Eastside).
