The Portland Mercury reports that E. Burnside's retro Galaxy Lounge building — once home to Portland's first-ever Denny's restaurant (which opened in 1963) — will soon be demolished to make way for Trio, a restaurant/karaoke lounge with "a menu featuring three foods served on one plate."
