Portland's Distillery Row plays host to two holiday food-and-drink events this Saturday, making the usual distillery crawl just a tad bit more... fattening. First up, House Spirits Distillery hosts its fifth-annual Holiday Booze Bazaar Saturday from 11am-5pm, combining spirits samples with opportunities for folks to food-shop for the holidays. House Spirits will unveil a special limited-release 100% malted barley un-aged whiskey (while also pouring mini-cocktails), and on-site vendors include Cellar Door Coffee, Olympic Provisions, and Violetta's rolling Etta truck.

Meanwhile, a few blocks down, New Deal Distillery's second-annual "Season's Eatings" benefit fetes the same day from noon to 6pm. Proceeds from the boozy holiday market — with vendors including Xocalatl de David, Tails and Trotters, the Hop & Vine, People’s Sandwich of Portland, and Dessert Labs — benefit the Oregon Food Bank (bring one can of non-perishable food for admission).
