Nong's Khao Man Gai, the little chicken and rice cart that could, and did, and went on to be named one of Portland Monthly's best restaurants of 2009, and namechecked by the Globe & Mail, and obsessed over by Yelp, and beloved by the Oregonian, and high-fived by Food Carts Portland, and pictured by Gourmet, has, as of two weeks ago, extended its hours to be open on Saturdays, serving tourists as well as the Monday-Friday 12th and Alder lunch crowd. That said, it's still advisable to show up before 1pm lest Nong sell out of that one-dish origami-wrapped chicken-and-rice crack.
