Bon Appetit has named Voodoo Doughnut one of the Top 10 Best Places for Donuts in America. Voodoo joins New York's insane Doughnut Plant, Seattle's Mighty-O Donuts, and Yountville's Bouchon Bakery, proving that spelling and/or naming is of no consequence when it comes to listing the best fried dough. "What Dalí was to art, Voodoo is to donuts," writer Andrew Knowlton argues. "Among their masterpieces are the Dirty Snowball (chocolate cake donut with a pink marshmallow glaze) and the Memphis Mafia (chocolate chips, banana, and peanut butter)." Odd he didn't mention the Triple Chocolate Penetration or the Boston cream variant known as the Cock-n-Balls, but that just means we get to. [Bon Appetit]
