PDX's Ten Worst (Most Insanely Awesome) Sandwiches?

New, 4 comments

David Zinczenko, Men's Health editor and author of Eat This Not That, just listed the 10 Worst Sandwiches in America. Which, depending on your take on calories and/or fat and/or bacon and/or flavor, could just as easily be titled the 10 Most Ridiculously Awesome But Bound to Make You Feel Bad Sandwiches in America. The ultimate destroyer is the Cheesecake Factory's Grilled Shrimp & Bacon Club, which clocks in at an inconceivable 1930 calories, closely followed by Applebee's Grilled Cheese BLT. Most tragic--though understandable given putative wide geographically approachable ranges of lists like this one--is that these are all chain sandwiches.

So, let's make this one local. What are the 10 Worst (read: Most Ridiculously Awesome But Bound to Make You Feel Bad) Sandwiches in Portland? No idea over on operative end, but we do know that it makes us want a Brunch Box redonkadonk real bad.
