After some speculation as to the location of Northeast tapas place Toro Bravo chef/owner John Gorham's new breakfast place, Tasty & Sons, Food Dude brings word that plans have changed from the original Wonder Ballroom idea to a new, nutty idea. Turns out Gorham's interested in taking over the old Anju/Nutshell space on North Williams. Quoting Dude quoting John: "We are going for a quick build-out and hope to be open in a month." (Tomorrow, in restaurant time.) "We are going to do brunch 7 days a week, and after the dust settles we are going to open in the evenings with a burger focused menu.” Burger-focused? Either Foster Burger and the mysterious DOC project have kickstarted a revolution, or Portland's finally joining the Shake Shacky fray. Developing...
