DJ Mumu Starts New Job Tomorrow

DJ Mumu, formerly of Saucebox until he was let go and replaced by incoming DJ The Perfect Cyn, starts tomorrow night at Mother's Lounge, just around the downtown corner from his old digs. He'll be spinning from 5pm 'til close on Friday nights, and from 9pm 'til close on Saturdays. But what does he do? According to Chef and civil rights champion Lisa Schroeder, "DJ Mr. Mumu, former resident DJ at the Saucebox, is a favorite among the local dance scene. He mixes FUN, FUNKY and GET DOWN records live via the vinyl, mixed and mashed with panache." Nothing better than the Get Down category (would that be Fiona Apple or No Fiona Apple?), nor the whispers that there might be a little launch party going on tonight.
