Bon Appetit writer Andrew Knowlton, after, er, introducing Voodoo Doughnuts to the world via the magazine's print pages, amends his list of America's Best Donuts and includes way northeast Sandy's Annie's Donut Shop. Knowlton himself doesn't say anything about them but links to Jane and Michael Stern's Roadfood, which says that Annie's "is a treasure." Also that they have a "wicked crunch to their gnarly skin," which is just, like, totally tubular. Word. [Bon Appetit]
