Portland Indie Wine & Food Wine Judges Revealed!

New, 2 comments

The twelve people responsible for deciding which of Oregon's many artisanal wines is the best have been announced. Coming from Europe, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, word is this perfectly-sized jury is gonna be doing up a blind taste-test of more than a hundred and fifty wines vying for space at the May 8th festival. Representing the hometown restaurant-world advantage will be Naomi Pomeroy of Beast and Cathy Whims, right, of Nostrana. Also showing up will be writer Ted Loos, New Seasons' wine buyer Toni Ketrenos, and the brilliantly-named Summer Wolff. Looks like they're all convening on March 15th, on which day walk slowly and keep an eye out for the lurchers.
