Hot on the heels of the word of Wicked Waffles' intent to offer Guinness-infused waffles on St. Paddy's Day comes the news that chef Jeanne Subotnick will be offering something even more traditional, and frankly, a wee bit more, er, intriguing-sounding, for the big green holiday. A waffle with corned beef. And, piece de resistance, cabbage. That said, in a town where you can find bacon on everything from doughnuts to the rim of a shot glass, is this really much of a surprise? File, once again, under "Only in Portland."
