The Country Cat Turns Three

Could this be the reason behind Adam Sappington's under-overall birthday suit? Today, Portland's favorite country boy celebrates the third birthday of his pork-loving, Southern-living Montavilla neighborhood restaurant The Country Cat. We're raising a toast with a jigger of Jack (part of the Cat's weekly Tuesday PB&J special — pork belly and Jack Daniels) and keeping fingers crossed that some kind of Jackie Sappington-approved birthday cake shows up for dessert.
