Laurelwood NW (and 23rd in General) Re-open for Business

After a temporary shutter to make some cosmetic changes, the Laurelwood NW Public House re-opened for business Tuesday, putting one of NW's best outdoor drinking patios back in action.

And it looks like the street in general is emerging from its construction-plagued winter — a few days after governmental powers-that-be declared NW 23rd re-open for business, the street's monthly Third Thursday event offers foodie deals at Moonstruck Chocolate, Santa Fe Taqueria, and Besaw's all night tonight. (Noticeably/unfortunately absent from the cheap list? Bruce Carey's tony 23Hoyt).
