Pudding on the Rice Opens Downtown Location

After culminating a loyal following at Tigard's Bridgeport Village, Pudding on the Rice, a dessert shop that replaces gelato and fro-yo with more than 40 flavors of rice pudding, opens its new downtown location (which sits steps away from the PSU farmer's market) beginning today. Yelpers report being enamored with the shop's rice-pudding-filled crepes, Red Rum and amaretto flavors, and painfully adorable owners Aaron and Jessica Grimmer.

Update: Eater just returned from a visit, and can confirm that the amaretto pudding — recipe by Jessica's grandmother — is totally worth the hype.
