Talk about a wino's dream. After a spirited round of judging that whittled the list down to 40 local craft wine-makers, the Portland Indie Wine Festival — which focuses on artisanal Oregon wineries — begins pouring at NE's Bison Building this Saturday at 2pm.
And in addition to the extensive winery list, many PDX restaurants, including Biwa, The Country Cat, Beaker & Flask, Wildwood, Nostrana, and Clyde Common, will be on-hand to plate goodies that'll (hopefully) help sober up the crowds. The event's official website has the full menu — think of it as a Taste-of-the-Nation-like foodie marathon, but with epically more booze.
