Coalition Brewing Returns Beer to Former Noble Rot Space

Portland's summer of beer continues: Today, Coalition Brewing debuts its brewpub in the space that formerly housed Noble Rot, just a hop and skip away from Ken's Artisan Pizza, Laurelhurst Theater, and the Goodfoot. During opening hours, noon to midnight, the refurbished bar (and outdoor patio, which will open later this summer) offers three house brews — a Red, Pale, and ESB — in addition to pub-friendly fare, with upcoming brews including an IPA, stout, and a maple porter with real Vermont syrup.

But the best of part of Coalition's mission (in addition to getting you soused)? Ready those recipes, folks: Owners Elan Walsky and Kiley Hoyt plan on featuring collaborations with outside pros and homebrewers alike.
