The accolades keep on coming for Matt Lightner and Castagna: The Oregonian just named the spot its 2010 Restaurant of the Year. "Over the two decades we've been picking a Restaurant of the Year, we've done it in various ways, but it almost always has involved debate and argument," the paper wrote. "This year, however, there was surprising agreement that Matthew Lightner was doing something unique and striking in his first year in charge of a kitchen."
The annual Diner guide also declared Laurelhurst Market the year's "Rising Star"; Metrovino gets the nod for "Comeback of the Year." More Diner coverage as the day progresses...
